"Tina's Groove" chronicles the personal and workplace adventures of a single, smart, attractive waitress who works at Pepper's restaurant.
Shrewdly self-aware, Tina refutes clichéd notions of single women as neurotics obsessed with career or marriage. Single, cute and 30+. Tina has found her groove and empowers herself by embracing life and everyone she meets head-on.
The strip is created by Canadian Rina Piccolo, famous for creating “Six Chicks”. She is single and 30+ herself, so she knows what she’s talking about. She appreciates sleeping, eating and buying shoes but she doesn’t like going to the gym, cooking or sewing.
