Swedish cartoonist Bernt Lundh was already a comic veteran with his strip Balder Bar when the idea of creating a strip about the environment he knows best – the school, occurred to him.
Bernt is a school teacher of many years, and creating a comic strip about kids and teachers where he is able to get new inspiration daily proved no difficulty for him.
It seems odd that there are not more strips about school. The school is really the perfect environment for a comic strip. We can all associate with it, either from our own experiences (if we still remember our school days) or we have kids or grandkids that go to school.
