Their company, Apple Corps Ltd, is still owned by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, the family of George Harrison and Yoko Ono Lennon.

Apple is still releasing CD’s and DVD’s continuously topping the charts.

The animated movie "Yellow Submarine", originally released in 1968, is considered a visionary masterpiece, a reflection of the psychedelic flower power era. It was created by a team of artists led by Heinz Edelmann, a famous Pop artist of the sixties. When it was re-released on DVD in 1999, British Railways did a campaign. An entire train going from London to Paris was decorated with characters from the movie.

In the middle of the sixties a very popular Beatles cartoon was broadcasted on TV in the US. The cartoon has reached cult status now in the 21st century, especially in America. There are many products produced in the US with images and scenery from this cartoon.

In June 2006 there was a grand opening at the Mirage in Las Vegas. The famous theatre group Cirque Du Soleil, together with MGM, in close cooperation with Apple, put on a spectacular show using the original tapes from the sixties. The music was remixed by their former producer, George Martin. This show is the most expensive music show in history and immediately became a great success. The Concert Hall, especially built for this show, was booked ten years in advance... In November of the same year, a CD was released with the music from the show, called "Love". Very soon it became number one on the selling chart in Sweden and has become a huge success worldwide.
