Marilyn

Marilyn is a star that needs no comment. There exist more than 300 written biographies. She has more than 8.000.000 hits at Google and she is seen everywhere and in all kinds of situations, e.g. jellery and cosmetics, as collector’s porcelain doll and, of course, in Andy Warhol’s artwork. She is THE Icon of femininity, famed for her looks and appearance, her blond hair and for her irresistible appeal.

Marilyn Monroe (1 June 1926 – 5 August 1962), born Norma Jeane Mortensen, was an American actress, singer and a model. She was awarded for her acting many times over and voted the "Sexiest Woman of the Century" by numerous American and English magazines.

She started her acting career as a twenty year old and she then bleached her hair and changed her name to Marilyn Monroe. During her short and glamorous life she starred in thirty screenplays, amongst them Men Prefer Blonds (1943), Some Like it Hot (1959) and The Misfits (1961).
